Shifting Sands

A small band of novice adventurers headed down south, past the forests and along the coast to face the sandy hot desert from which an emissary came. They faced days of heat and exhaustion, their bodies barely able to handle the hostile environment. It seemed to not want adventurers wandering inside of it, the Desert felt alive. Just when the threat reached its zenith, when the adventurers were about to call it quits and head back to the guild, they prevailed.

Down in the distance, by a gorgeous oasis which did not fade with a careful look, they found a bazaar of sorts. A collection of peoples each with golden armbands, armed and unarmed, living a comfortable life trading, herding and feasting. This ensemble was joined briefly, and the necessary rest taken. Its leader however, wished to meet these newcomers. A woman with half the body of a snake, regal and commanding, yet mischievous and somewhat threatening, gave them a quest. In return for this errand the Bazaar could be used as an outpost for further guild expeditions.

They took this quest, and went out to slay the Woman’s sister, or bring her back into the fold. Even though they did their best, and a plan was hatched, the poorly defended fortress that the sister called her home was more dangerous than thought. A battle ensued, and though the adventurers ended up victorious, it was barely by a thread.. Two lay slain, their bodies unable to be recovered fully… We suffered a great loss, but with it comes future opportunity!

Sea Rescue

After facing a storm a group of adventures reached one of the coastal island to find the missing sailors. After a bit of searching they found a cave filled with fishfolk, they seemed to be focused on getting involuntary workers for there hard jobs. The party fought there way to the imprisoned sailors and managed to get them safe.
They also recovered a strange statue from one of the fish folk. Further research into the statue is done at the guild.
