Rat-men discovered!

Recently a tunnel was discovered in B.S.C buildings north of town, and a group from the guild went to investigate.

The group first encountered these fiends in the tunnels, and followed them to a nearby cove to the north-east. Here they found a Rat-men base, filled with the Stolen crates and goods from the Bernhard Storehouse Company. The threat to our town and neighbouring businesses was eliminated with precision and quick wit!

Report any and all sightings of the so-called Rat-men to the nearest guild authorities!

Goblinoid Gobbledygook
Three far-sighted wayfarers headed out into the pouring rains that plague our coast. There, on a two-day adventure, they encountered a friendly Goliath tribesman called Esteban de Díaz, an evil undead Count, called Yanyael ‘Icebones’, and finally forged an uneasy alliance with the Hobgoblin Hizthak “The Fatal Axe”, who’s goblin tribe will now no longer raid our farms.

Kobold Trouble

Thormund, the brave Dwarf Sorceror, gave his life to prevent a major magical catastrophe by blowing up a cave (and himself) filled with lightning-plants and a quickly-gaining-in-power Star-stone. The resulting explosion was even witnessed in Town. The cave was part of a kobold lair, where possibly also dragon-eggs were stored. The fate of these, the kobold and the spectral figure leading their inter-clan negotiations remains unknown.

Tomb of Kings

A strange morning in the tavern, mist, or smoke perhaps, pervasive throughout the wooden interior, wearing heavy on the lungs of all inside…

As the window was opened, so flew out the grey smog, to reveal in the corner an old Dwarf, George Greytoe, a short conversation led to the discovery that the rest of his party was wiped out in the hills to the north-east…

As the brave adventurers tread over old gravel paths, they find their vision fading.. a mist not unlike that in the tavern falling over the white-flowered Dwarven Burial Hills..

Strange chanting, a creature following them, a prayer to Moradin, and they arrive safely inside the old Tomb of the Kings, a majestic Dwarven construction.

Inside, using faith, cleverness and Strength, they lay back to rest the old Dwarves, and press on to face that which was revealed: The Amalgam.

This mass of cloth, souls, bones and metal was eventually defeated, using the environment of the large in-cave grove, and the adventurers returned battered.. but with new knowledge. They do not trust Stinous Armenthous any longer.

Strange Mushrooms

A farm covered in strange purple mushrooms and a farmer at his wits end is where we begin. Behind his home a secret cave was found. Giant rats attempted to end our adventurers quest, but were decimated. Following the winding tunnels and more hidden passages to uncover a laboratory, old and long forgotten. A large container of yellow fluid was suspended from the ceiling. In the chamber beyond the source of the mushrooms was found, a magical monstrous Mycellic master.
After some investigation, blood and guts it is discovered that the yellow fluid is the bane of all things of a Mycellic nature, and the source is vanquished!

Spider Trouble

Brave adventurers succesfully rescued a lumberjack from the claws of two giant spiders. Some goblins and kobolds were left to be eaten by swarms of baby spiders, but a dryad was also rescued (though perhaps not fully voluntary).

Hints of an even larger spider were found, including the body of a unicorn, whose horn was being stolen by some kobolds (Cult of the Sleeping Dragon) who were chased into the cruel arms of the rescued dryad. No horn was ever found though.

Mine Mischief

The Guildmaster reports that four adventurers affiliated with the Dunes and Dragons guild have returned from a most arduous journey to the dark woods east of our town. To achieve their goal of locating the source of the strange lights, they sought information from the minister of Agriculture, Morris Weedburne. (A note is scribbled on the page, identifying the minister as the fat man with a guard besides him, always carrying a large wooden pipe, and frequently popping said pipe during conversation)

He sent them further into the forest with warnings of traps and magicks. Fortunately, the adventurers did not encounter much of either, and instead were ambushed by an advance goblin scouting party. After narrowly defeating them, they made their way to a hidden entrance into some old, collapsed Dwarven mines in a central hill in the forest.

They snuck in, and found a goblin magician hidden in the old mithril mine. They defeated, with great trouble, this man, but let the rest of his tribe, identified by a tattered Red flag upon which sits black markings of a sparkling claw, escape and flee to the east.


Goblin Trouble

Let it be known that 3 intrepid adventurers bravely followed some goblins into a cave underneath the woodcutters cabin where, after attempting peaceful negotiations, slaughtered the present goblins and their leader employing unconventional tactics.
Of special mention is the defeat of a very large half-ogre and a giant spider that was being trained & bred.
An unknown spectral figure escaped together with a single shaman kobold (who now erroneously beliefs the Sleeping Dragon talks to him) from an observed large meeting between kobolds and goblins, and we ask all adventurers to keep an eye out for them.

Dunes and Dragons: the Call

Altijd al eens zelf op avontuur willen gaan door magische en fantastische werelden?

Dan is Dunes and Dragons voor jou! Elke Woensdagavond (vanaf 15 Sept 2021) gaat om 19:00 de deur open bij Post-aan-Zee (Voorstraat 82A Egmond-aan-Zee) en spelen we Dungeons and Dragons (begin 19:30) met meerdere spelleiders.

Iedereen is welkom, zowel ervaren spelers als complete beginners. Kies zelf aan welk avontuur je wil deelnemen.

Alle spullen voor het spelen zijn aanwezig. Speel met aanwezige (pre-generated) characters of neem je eigen bedacht character (core, standard array, level 1) mee.

Deelname op basis vrijwillige bijdrage, koffie&thee aanwezig. Stuur aub even e-mail naar dunesanddragons@gmail.com of laat hier bericht achter op contact-pagina, zodat we weten hoeveel mensen komen.
